A Refined South Asian Wedding at The Biltmore Hotel in Miami

Advaitaa & Tejus’ dawn to dusk celebration at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida.

Advaitaa & Tejus chose The Biltmore Hotel in Miami for its history and an aesthetic that stands the test of time. A gentle soul with a love for all things traditional, timeless and classic, Advaitaa found her match in a landmark where every archway and staircase feels made for a celebration of love like theirs.

The day began with a first look on the Biltmore’s iconic outdoor staircases overlooking the fountain. Advaitaa wore a purple, gold and canard blue saree, and Tejus an ivory and gold sherwani, before the family gathered in the courtyard for a traditional Hindu ceremony. The morning was sun-filled, without a single cloud in the sky. The mandap was a showstopper, built by Parrish Designs entirely from rampant greenery and white roses, with foliage dripping from every side. Advaitaa and Tejus moved through the many rituals from both of their regions, and the courtyard was full of laughter and a real sense of belonging.

Later that day, the couple changed for the reception in the Granada Ballroom. Tejus wore a tailored black tuxedo, and Advaitaa a gold and ivory sparkling lehenga choli. The room felt like a grand ball from a movie scene: ivory and blush roses filled the tables, while candles flickered through the delicious Indian dinner. After heartfelt speeches from friends and family, the party kicked off, and the dance floor stayed heated until the end of the night.
