A CASTLE wedding in bloom

Summer is the powerhouse & creative mind behind Summer Nicole Events Planning. I first met her while photographing a wedding she had planned, and instantly connected over her dream wedding in France.

Fast forward to May 2023, in the lush countryside of Normandy, France - where I grew up and lived for 22 years. The day is a typical Spring Norman day, with a breeze and a shy sunshine. Guests who traveled all the way from the United States make their way to a garden ceremony facing a wildflower field. The florals are out of a fairytale, with a beautiful combination of greenery, blush, peach, and lavender.

Summer & Michael have their first look and private vows reading at the feet of a millennium tree - a beautiful symbol of promises that stood the test of time. After saying their "I do's", the crème de la crème was served as amuse-bouches: fresh Norman oysters, mini quiches & empanadas, and... Champagne, lots of Champagne!

The couple had a long table facing the castle, for an intimate wedding dinner al fresco. At dusk, the party moved to the castle's farmhouse to enjoy macarons, a slice of wedding cake, and a fired up hora loca, because this party was definitely a piece of Miami in French country.
